Franklin Edward Running Horse, Sr was born in Rosebud, SD on June 6, 1966 to Reuben & Cecelia (Runs Above) Running Horse. He passed away at his home in Parmelee on July 8, 2021.
Family include his 5 children and 15 grandchildren: Frank Running Horse, Jr (RyEsha, StarLynn, Jaemius & Lissik); Amanda Running Horse (Shone, Tylan, Brielle, Austyn, Jashon & Addie); the late Joey Running Horse (Zane, Phiebbe & Joe); the late Culen Fights Over (Miya); and Shawn Running Horse (Serenity). Also 2 brothers Alou & Randy Running Horse, 3 sisters Laura & Pamela Running Horse and Romina Eagle Bear and his significant other Rhoda Fights Over.
Services will be held at the He Dog School Gym with wakes Sunday and Monday and funeral at 11am, Tuesday July 13, 2021. Burial will follow at St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery in Parmelee, SD.
Pallbearers are Raven Black Bull, Louie Black Bull, Randy Running Horse, Jerome Eagle Bear, Davis Black Bull, Rudy Black Bull, Harold Black Bull, Jr., Timothy Bracha, Sr and Leonard Plumman, Jr and honorary bearers are all relatives, family and friends.
